Brad Griebenow brings over 40 years of experience in construction, engineering, and project management to his role as President and Owner of Storm Guard Roofing of Colorado Springs. His extensive background spans both the private and government sectors, including leadership roles in aerospace and advanced robotics.
Before founding his Storm Guard franchise, Brad served as Vice President of Programs at Sierra Nevada Corporation, where he oversaw complex aircraft modification projects. He was also Chief Engineer for Lockheed Martin Space Operations, managing space hardware development for NASA’s Johnson Space Center. Earlier in his career, he led robotics technology development at the Department of Energy’s Idaho National Laboratory.
Brad is passionate about applying his engineering expertise and problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional results for clients. His vision is to build Storm Guard of Colorado Springs into the community’s go-to leader for exterior restoration—driven by a team of skilled, customer-focused employees and subcontractors, all committed to excellence.
Sam was one of the original members of the Storm Guard team back in 2016. He keeps things running smoothly in the Storm Guard system and communicates with insurance carriers on behalf of our customers. Before joining Storm Guard, Sam worked in the software industry leading business development teams. When Sam is not busy working for our customers, you can find him spending time with his daughters, racing his mountain bike, walking his dog, or traveling.
Melissa is the Office Manager at Storm Guard Roofing, where she coordinates team schedules, manages accounts receivable, and provides essential support to the entire staff. Before joining Storm Guard, she served as the Principal’s Secretary at Palmer Lake Elementary for six years. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys camping and spending time with her three children. She’s on a personal mission to visit every national park in the United States.
Jake keeps things moving at Storm Guard as our Production Manager, making sure every project gets done right, on time, and with the attention to detail our customers expect. From ordering materials to job site visits and coordinating with crews, he helps keep the production side running smoothly.
When he’s not on a roof or job site, Jake loves spending time with his wife Tayler, their three beautiful daughters, and one awesome, wild little boy. He’s a big football fan, an avid golfer, and always has a project going on around the house. Jake’s favorite part of the job is seeing a great finished product and happy customers at the end of every build.”
Originally from Texas, JD brings many years of professional experience in the roofing industry and recently relocated to Colorado to continue his career. JD is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and dependable service to every client. Outside of work, JD enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly mountain biking and exploring the natural beauty of Colorado.
Kim has been in the construction industry for 30 years starting as a roofer at the age of 14. Kim has been married for 28 years and has known his wife for 30. Kim has three kids ages 25, 24, and 18. Kim relocated to Colorado with his wife in November 2024 to follow their two oldest kids and start the next chapter in their lives.
