Michael Kuzy, one of the co-owners of Storm Guard of Durham Chapel Hill, relocated with his family from New Jersey to join forces with his brother and sister-in-law in establishing their business. With a diverse background spanning sales, marketing, and management, Michael brings invaluable expertise to our team. His primary focus lies in cultivating strong relationships between homeowners and insurance providers, ensuring smooth and efficient processes for our clients. Beyond the professional realm, Michael finds joy in botany, indulging in the intricate details of plant names and histories. As a dedicated family man, he treasures spending quality time with his loved ones, relishing every moment as both a caring father and a doting grandfather. Michael’s multifaceted skills make him a pivotal asset to our team.

Rachael Kuzy is an integral part of Storm Guard of Durham Chapel Hill where she helps navigate homeowners throughout the process of replacing their roof utilizing their insurance policy. She has won numerous awards for her work, including the Key Contributor Award consecutively from 2017-2022, and National Sales Leader from 2021 to 2023 achieving over 2 million dollars annually. Rachael was born and raised in South Jersey and has since started a family of her own in Durham with her husband, daughter, son, and 90-pound Boxer; Gronk. Rachael has a love for hiking, eating, and traveling. She is family oriented which gives her great pride in seeing the tremendous achievements the locally owned, Durham Franchise has received since joining the team. She is privileged to work so closely day in and day out with her Aunt, Uncle, and Father, who are the owners and her super cool brother-in-Law, James. Rachael is an experienced professional in the roofing industry with a successful track record of sales, awards, and customer satisfaction. Her dedication to customer service is represented through her values; under promise and over deliver. She has consistently outperformed the market standards and won the trust of her customers and the countless referrals.
